Grace J. O’Neill

Grace “Chickie,” O’Neill of Weymouth passed away on August 29, 2013. 

Devoted wife of William O’Neill and loving sister of Camille Collins of Braintree; cherished mother of Joanne Delaporta and husband Ken of Canton, Jeanne Pacheco of Weymouth, and Bill O’Neill and wife Carol of Canton. Proud and generous grandmother of Dan Delaporta and wife Alysha, Aimee Delaporta, Raechel and Nate Pacheco, and Alyson and Benjamin O’Neill. Adored aunt of Chris Collins and wife Lisa and Lori Rowan and husband Dan; great aunt of Joseph and Francesca Collins.  Beloved cousin and friend of many.  Born in Boston on April 13, 1938 to Joseph and Josephine DiBellis, Grace grew up in Roslindale, attended Boston State College, and worked as a dental assistant in Quincy and Stoughton. Grace enjoyed spending time with family and friends, traveling on 23 cruises, and shopping for a bargain.  

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a mass for the celebration of Grace’s life on Monday September 2nd at 10:30 AM at Immaculate Conception, 1199 Commercial Street, East Weymouth. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Missionary Society of Saint James, 24 Clark St, Boston, MA 02109 or the Home for Little Wanderers, 271 Huntington Ave, Boston, MA 02115.
