Grace Baldwin Doherty

Doherty, Grace Baldwin of Hull, formerly of Hingham, October 27, 2008. Loving mother of Rosemary & husband T.J. Byrne and Richard B. Doherty, all of Hingham. Devoted “Grandma” of Riley Grace Byrne. Former wife of Richard Doherty. Sister of Edwin MacLean Baldwin & wife Joanie of Utah, Stanley Sherman Baldwin & wife Judith of Eugene, OR and Martha Loverde of Washington, D.C. Grace worked as the medical director for the Hyperbaric Oxygen Treatment Center in Randolph for the last 6 years. Previously, she worked as a pulmonologist and assistant medical director at MA Respiratory Hospital in Braintree where she worked for 28 years. She also worked as a preceptor for nurse practitioners with the MA General Hospital Institute of Health Professions. Born and raised in Marshfield, WI, Grace graduated from the Medical College of PA. She devoted her life to her family and will be greatly missed. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral service in St. John the Evangelist Episcopal Church, Main St., Hingham Saturday at 10 AM. Visiting hours Friday 4-8 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21, Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. Burial in Hingham Cemetery. Donations in memory of Grace may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P.O. Box 50, Memphis, TN 38105.
