Gloria R. Adams

Adams, Gloria R. (Frongello) of Quincy, died peacefully August 11, 2013.

Beloved wife of the late George H. Adams. Loving mother of Susan Adams Peterson of Brockton,Jacqueline Adams Lydon and her husband, Jack, of Quincy,  Richard Adams and his wife, Lisa Angelini Adams, of Boston, Lisa Adams of Quincy and the late Dolores Adams Boyd and George H. Adams, Jr.Beloved sister of Susan Hart of Illinois, Rudolph Frongello of Malden, Dorothy Beresniewicz and her husband, Wally, of Quincy,  Ronald Frongello and his wife, Barbara, of Pennsylvania, Robert Frongello and his wife Barbara, of Virginia, and the late Esther Shedd, Joseph Frongello, and Frances London. Grandmother of Eric, Melanie, Gia, Roxanne, Riki, and Jonlyn. Great grandmother of Zachary. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Gloria was widowed at age 43 and raised her 6 children in a loving home. She was known as a proud, elegant women that spoke her mind and was a force to be reckoned with!   She had a warm, welcoming smile and always put everyone before herself. She loved her brothers and sisters, children and grandchildren more than she could say! Gloria should be remembered fondly the way she was before her illness.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 3-6 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. Reception for family and friends will be held from 6:30 to 9PM at the Neighborhood Club, 27 Glengale Rd, QUINCY. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, 480 Pleasant Street, Watertown, MA 02472 or to Make a Wish Foundation, 1 Bulfinch Place, # 201 Boston, MA 02114 .
