Gloria E. Lake

Lake, Gloria E. (Michaud) of Quincy, formerly of Braintree, died February 18, 2016.

Gloria’s life was focused around her family, especially the grandchildren.  She enjoyed listening to classical music, reading, and having intelligent conversations.  She was a proud graduate of Gate of Heaven High School in South Boston and later worked as an X-ray technician at local hospitals. 

Beloved mother of Paul J. Lake and his wife Cheryl of Waltham and Peter J. Lake and his wife Gail of Duxbury.  Former wife of the late Alfred Lake.  Loving sister of Helen Anne Shamon of Norwood, and the late Marie Kelly, and late Joseph Michaud.  Cherished grandmother of Chris, Meghan, Nicole, Whitney, Darci, and Anna Lake.  Dear aunt of Laura Polin. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral service in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY, Thursday, February 25, 2016 at 10:30 AM. 

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Gloria may be made to Make-A-Wish Massachusetts and Rhode Island, One Bulfinch Place, 2nd Floor, Boston, MA 02114.
