Gloria A. Pizzelli

Pizzelli, Gloria A. (Cook) of Hull, formerly of Hingham, May 1, 2005. God saw you were getting weary, when a cure was not to be, He closed His arms around you, and whispered “come to Me”. So keep your arms around her, Lord, and give her special care, make up for all she suffered and all that seemed unfair. The golden gate stood open, God saw that she needed rest, His Garden must be beautiful, for He only takes the best. Sadly missed by her family including: Beloved wife of 50+ yrs. to Denis Pizzelli. Loving mother of Donna & her husband Daniel Miller of Middleboro, Karen & her husband Michael Stephenson of Hopkington, Nancy & her husband Edward Walsh of Braintree, Carol & her husband Theodore Cantrell of Boston, and Stephen Pizzelli & his wife Maria of No. Weymouth. Loving “Gramma” of Christopher, Clifford, Daniel Jr., Stephen II, Matthew, Juliana, Emily, and Aidan. Sister of Lawrence Cook of Hingham, Ann Keating of Hingham, and Marie Sealey of Marlboro. Also survived by many nieces & nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Funeral Mass in Saint Paul’s Church, Hingham at Wednesday at 10 AM. Burial in Saint Paul’s Cemetery, Hingham. Mrs. Pizzelli worked as a certified nurses assistant in several nursing homes and later in private nursing care. She was an elderly advocate in her work and in her life. She always offered compassion and care to those who needed it. She was also an animal lover, always looking to find homes for stray cats and dogs. She enjoyed gardening and traveling to FL, Washington, D.C., and the Kangamangus Trail in NH. She loved caring for her grandchildren. She was also a devout Catholic who attended church faithfully. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mrs. Pizzelli may be made to MSPCA, 350 S.
