Glenna Birmingham

Birmingham, Glenna (McDonough) of Quincy, died May 13, 2014.

Glenna graduated from Boston University School of Medicine and worked as a pediatrician at the Fitzsimons Army Hospital in Colorado for 40 years. She was passionate about traveling all over the world with her husband Charles and belonged to a traveling club. She was an avid skier and on her downtime enjoyed doing crossword puzzles. She will be remembered for her friendly nature and the bond with her family.

Loving daughter of the late John J. and Alvina (Johnston) McDonough. Cherished sister of the late John J. McDonough Jr. and his wife Jean and Mary Elizabeth Gilmartin and her husband Joseph P.  

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 9-10 AM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
