Hollatz, Glen A. “Andy” of Quincy, died unexpectedly on February 25, 2016.
The beloved husband of Christine (Power) Hollatz of Quincy. Loving father of Alexander Hollatz of Tamworth, NH and Matthew Hollatz of Quincy. Son of the late Glen and Virginia (Burbine) Hollatz. Brother of Darlene Maggio of Easton and Diana Gavoni of Sandwich. Son in Law of John and Theresa Power of Worcester. Brother in Law of Kevin and Kim Power of Sterling and Susan and Sean Fitzgerald of Auburn. Andy is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Andy was an insurance broker working for Members Insurance Agency. He was a dedicated coach for Quincy Youth baseball and basketball. He gave freely of his time and truly enjoyed encouraging, inspiring and being a strong mentor. Andy will be remembered as a devoted husband and father who always put others before himself. A generous man who has left this world a better place, he will be sadly missed.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Wednesday prior to the Funeral Mass in Holy Trinity Parish at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Andy may be made Quincy Youth Baseball, Att: Mike Conners 101 Butler Road, Quincy, MA 02169.
