Harkins, Gladys (Magner) of Cohasset, formerly of Hull and Hingham, October 17, 2002. Wife of the late Thomas I. Harkins. Loving mother of Thomas I. Jr. of Weymouth and Susan H. Regan of Cohasset. Sister of Doris Ahern of Destin FL., Robert Magner and Dr. Peter Magner both of Hingham. Sister in law of Margaret Harkins of Stoneham. Beloved grandmother of Thomas Michael and Julie Marie Harkins and Jessica E. Regan. Also survived by many neices and nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM Monday at 9:15 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Paul’s Church, Hingham at 10 AM. Visiting hours Sunday 4-7 PM. Burial in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne Monday at 3 PM. Mrs. Harkins was a WW II Army veteran who later worked at the Pentagon where she met her future husband. She also worked as an administrative assistant for the Army Corps of Engineers in Waltham, retiring in 1985.Donations in memory of Mrs. Harkins may be made to Sacred Heart Elementary School Fund, 55 Commercial St., Weymouth MA 02188.
