Giovanni L. Pacini

Giovanni L. “John” Pacini of Whitman, formerly of Weymouth died August 21, 2014 at the age of 84.

Giovanni served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He founded his family business, Bay State Statuary in Weymouth, with his father in 1957. He was a dedicated family man and enjoyed skiing trips with “the gang”, his long time group of loyal friends.

Beloved husband of 57 years to Laura M. (Amadei) Pacini. Loving father of Giovanni A. Pacini, Jr. and wife Christine of Squantum, Gina O’Neil and husband Michael of Stoughton, and Mario Pacini and wife Barbara of Foxborough. Cherished “Nonno” of Nicholas, Olivia, Chiara, Marco and Juliana.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 8:45 AM on Tuesday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Weymouth at 9:30 AM. Burial in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Boston.
