Gioacchino “Jack” Lamparelli

Lamparelli, Gioacchino “Jack” of Weymouth, died April 26, 2015.

Jack enjoyed many years as a resident of Weymouth, Cape Cod and Naples, FL. In his early years, he proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Jack worked as a machinist for Proctor and Gamble for over 30 years, retiring in 1990. He was a skilled piano player and also enjoyed golf and reading. Jack’s family was the foundation of all that was important to him. His family fondly remembers the many Sunday gatherings hosted by Jack and Diddy and the many memories made there. He will be dearly missed. 

Beloved husband of the late Lillian “Diddy” (Cox) Lamparelli. Devoted father of Diane Pica and her husband John of Hingham, Nick Lamparelli and his wife Debi of NJ, Terri Higgins and her husband Pat of Franklin and Gina Keefe and her husband John of Avon. Cherished “Grampa” of 10 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Loving brother of Joseph Lamparelli of Mashpee, Vincent Lamparelli of CT and the late Frank Lamparelli. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 5-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital)  Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9 AM on Thursday prior to the Funeral Mass in Immaculate Conception Church, Weymouth at 10 AM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
