Gilbert D. Pratt

Pratt, Gilbert D. “Gil” of Weymouth, died May 18, 2014 at home surrounded by his family.

Gil was born in Boston but soon after moved to Weymouth where he was raised and educated. He worked hard in various grocery stores his whole life but was always there for his family who he valued above all. 

Gil is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years Carol (Jacobsen) Pratt, Loving father to Jean Simoni of Attleboro, Cathy Parks and her husband David of Woonsocket RI, Donald Pratt and his partner John Carmody of Davenport FL, Gil is also survived by his brother Norman Pratt and his wife Gail of Belmont, NH and his late sister Beverly MacFawn. Also survived by 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.  

Services for Gil will be private. Donations in memory of Gil may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project P.O. Box 758517 Topeka, Kansas 66675.
