Gertrude M. “Gert” Cincotta

Cincotta, Gertrude M. “Gert” (McManus) of Weymouth, passed away peacefully on April 12, 2014 after a long and courageous battle surrounded by her loving family. 

Gert graduated from Aquinas College in Milton, with her associates degree.  She later became the executive secretary of Gale Associates an engineering firm in Weymouth.  Gert enjoyed Cooking for her family, gardening, reiki, reading and taking drives along the beach. One of her great passions was walking with her Golden Retriever, Cosmo, who was like a second child to her.  Gert will be sadly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Beloved wife of Mark Cincotta of Weymouth.  Loving mother of Michael Cincotta of Brighton. Predeceased by her parents John and Barbara (O’Hanley) McManus.  Caring sister of John “Jack” McManus and Francis “Frank” McManus both of Braintree.  Cherished aunt of Nicole Cincotta.  Also survived by many caring friends.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 8:30 AM Tuesday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Weymouth at 9:30 AM. Burial in Village Cemetery, Weymouth.
