McNulty, Gertrude E. (Mahoney) of Hingham formerly of Milton, September 12, 2006. Beloved wife of Bernard J. McNulty of Hingham. Loving mother of Bernard J. McNulty, Jr., Stephen R. McNulty, both of Marshfield, Marie E. and her husband Thomas O’Connor of Scituate, Nancy J. and her husband H. Scott Sanborn of Hingham and Susan Lee of VA. Loving sister of Mary Hannon of W. Roxbury, Rita McNulty of Milton, Gertrude’s twin sister, Ann Mulrean of Brighton and the late William F. Mahoney, Jr. Adoring grandmother of Tommy, Chris and Kate O’ Connor, Scott and Meaghan Sanborn and Ryan and Stephen McNulty, Jr. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St., HINGHAM, Friday at 10 AM. Funeral Mass in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Green Harbor at 11 AM. Visiting hours Thursday 4-8 PM. Burial in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne. Gertrude was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her family was the focal point of her life. She enjoyed spending her summers in Green Harbor. Mrs. McNulty was a member of the Green Harbor Yacht Club. She and her family enjoyed the many functions at the club over the years. Gertrude took up golf in later years and enjoyed playing at both Green Harbor and North Hill Country Club in Marshfield. Her family remembers her as always putting their needs ahead of her own.
