O’Donnell, Gerry (Walsh) of Quincy, Friday, September 4, 2009. Beloved wife of Robert L. O’Donnell of Quincy. Loving mother of Matthew R. and his wife Mary of Brockton, Christopher P. and his wife Colleen, and Patrick M., all of Quincy. Loving sister of Kathy Wilkinson of Mansfield, Claire McCormick of Dedham and Paul Walsh of Weymouth. Cherished grandmother of Melissa, Christopher, Lindsey and her three little angels, Emily, John and Olivia. Also survived by her dear friends Maryann Glynn and Beth Stevens, both of Quincy, and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. O’Donnell was born in Boston and worked for many years as a Receptionist at Harvard Vanguard in Braintree and Quincy. The focus of Mrs. O’Donnell’s life was her family. She enjoyed attending her three boys’ activities, like baseball, hockey and soccer and going on camping trips. They have enjoyed many trips to Disney World over the past several years. Gerry was altruistic, loving, caring and had a wonderful sense of humor. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours Tuesday from 4 – 8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock Street, QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Wednesday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, N. Quincy at 10 AM. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester. Donations in memory of Gerry may be made to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, 10 Brookline Place West, 6th Fl, Brookline, MA 02445.
