Germaine T. Diggin

Diggin, Germaine T. (Walsh) “Gerry” of Weymouth, passed away January 10, 2013.

Gerry was born and raised in Dorchester and was a member of St. Matthew’s Parish. Over the years she had worked for Howard Johnson’s Candy Factory, as a hairdresser and for White Hen Pantry. She enjoyed family gatherings and dancing. Her family will remember her as a loving, devoted and caring woman.

Beloved wife of Joseph D. Diggin. Loving mother of Michael Diggin of Weymouth, Billy Diggin of Marshfield and Jane Silcox of Wrentham. Devoted “Nana” of Michael, Jr., Lauren, Morgan, Danielle, Joe, Jack and Kerrin. Loving sister of Patricia Walsh of Weymouth. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off RT.3A-Bicknell Sq.)  Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 8:15 AM on Tuesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Jerome Church, Weymouth at 9 AM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
