Loving father of Gerard Vitti of Milton, Phyllis Cudmore of Canton, Marci Heffernan of Pembroke, Allen Vitti of Martinez, CA and Michael Vitti of Portland, OR. Brother of Louise Colletti, Joe Vitti, Edgar Vitti, Ada Giordano, all of Port Chester, NY & the late Jenny Pierro. Loving Papa of Anthony & Francesca Vitti; Jaime, Jack & Tessa Cudmore; Patrick & Luke Heffernan; and Lauren & Allison Lokmor. Also survived by many nieces & nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM Sunday from 4-8 PM & in Port Chester, NY on Tuesday (Craft Funeral Home). Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Mercy Church, Port Chester, NY on Wednesday. Burial in Saint Mary’s Cemetery, Port Chester, NY.Mr. Vitti was originally from Port Chester, New York. He graduated from Fordham University in New York where he earned his Bachelors in English and his Masters Degree in social work. He worked as an LICSW (licensed clinical social worker) working with individuals, married couples and families for Family Counseling and Guidance Centers in the Boston Area. Before moving to Massachusetts 36 years ago, he worked as a social worker in Harlem for the Archdiocese of New York.
