Gerard S. Sullivan

Sullivan, Gerard S. “Sully” of Kingston, died December 27, 2015. Gerard was a retired Verizon employee of 31 years and after retiring opened a family business, Sullivan Driving School in Kingston. Gerard spent his days with the love of his life tooling around town, shopping and dining out.  Some of Gerard’s favorite past times were playing golf, going fishing and hanging out with his sons. Gerard made his family the cornerstone of his life and was a dedicated husband and father. Beloved husband of 26 years to Carolyn P. (Duffy) Sullivan of Kingston. Cherished father to Tyler D. Sullivan, Specialist of The U.S. Army and Cory G. Sullivan of Kingston. Son of the late Paul and Philomena Sullivan of Dorchester. Loving brother of Paul E. Sullivan and his wife Debbie of Sharon, and Brian Sullivan and his wife Gina of Dorchester. Brother in law of Pamela Brennan and her husband Billy of Kingston. Son in law to Marilyn Duffy and the late Francis Duffy. Uncle of Samantha, Carly and Alicia and predeceased by his sister in law Suzanne Gratta. Gerard is also survived by his cherished dogs, Eddie and Joey. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, P.O. Box 849168, Boston MA 02284. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Funeral service and burial will be private.
