Geraldine A. “Geri” Sullivan

Sullivan, Geraldine A. “Geri” (Sibella) of Hingham, died November 6, 2018.

Beloved wife of 62 years to John T. Sullivan of Hingham.  Loving mother of Shawn P. Sullivan and his wife Andrea of Hingham and James J. Sullivan of California.  Grandmother “Gran Geri” of Joseph, Charlie, Hannah and Maggie.  Sister of Martin Sibella and his wife Joni of Las Vegas and the late Angela Becker, Mary Sibella, Joan O’Connor, Bernard Sibella and Frankie Sibella.  Sister in law of Maryann Carlos of Quincy.  Cherished friend of Alice White of Weymouth.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Geri worked for the water company and later in the shipment office for Hitchcock Shoes.  She was a devoted volunteer for the Hingham Elder Services for over 20 years. When not volunteering, Geri would be active in some of the activities at Hingham Elder Services such as yoga and aerobics.  She enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid gardener in her earlier years.  Geri was a pet lover and adored her cats and dogs.  Her main passion in life was her family and spending time with those she loved.  Geri will be sadly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday, November 12, 2018 from 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). A Celebration of life will be held in the funeral home at 9:45 AM on Tuesday prior to the Funeral Mass in Immaculate Conception Church, Weymouth at 10:30 AM. Burial in MA National Cemetery, Bourne.
