Geraldine E. Canavan

Canavan, Geraldine E. (Shine) of Quincy, died September 2, 2015. 

Geraldine traveled the world, taking trips to Europe and the West along with many other places.  She had a love for dancing and would make all around her join in the fun.  For the past three years, Geraldine lived at the River Bay Club in Quincy where she gained many friends.  Her main passion was her family and spending time with those she loved.  Geraldine will be sadly missed.

Pre-deceased by her beloved husband Leo Canavan.  Loving mother of Marlene Canavan of Quincy and the late Paul Canavan.  Devoted grandmother of Nick Canavan of Franklin.  Great grandmother of Caydence and Collin Canavan.  Caring sister of the late Evelyn Zimbone and Robert Shine. Cherished aunt to her niece and nephews. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 10:30 AM. 

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Geraldine may be made to Alzheimers Assn., MA Chapter, 480 Pleasant Street, Watertown, MA 02472.
