Gerald R. “Gerry” Gent

Gent, Gerald R. “Gerry” of Pembroke formerly of Braintree, May 31, 2005. Beloved husband of Katherine (Pagliaro) Gent of Pembroke. Loving father of Edward F. and his wife Mairelena of Plymouth and Karen G. and her husband Michael Campanale of Braintree. Brother of Ann Beninato of FL, Mary Malouin of RI and the late Raymond Gent. Cherished grandfather of Rachel and Jacob Gent & Francesca and Gianna Campanale. Mr. Gent worked as a Liquor Salesman for Boston Beverage Co. in Westwood, which later became Coastal Beverage in Avon, for many years retiring in 1998. Gerry was an avid hockey player, coach and fundraiser for Hanover Youth Hockey for many years. He enjoyed softball and fishing the ocean. Gerry was a lifetime member of the Hull VFW. He was a former member of both the Hingham and Braintree Son’s of Italy, Weymouth and Hanover Elk’s and the Weymouth Eagle’s. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM Saturday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Ann’s Church, Hull at 10 AM. Visiting hours Friday 4-8 PM. Burial in Hull Village Cemetery, Hull.
