Lynch, Gerald “Jerry” F. age 46 of Sunderland formerly of Hingham died on January 9, 2007 after a courageous battle with brain cancer. The beloved husband of Deborah (Howe) Lynch of Sunderland. Devoted father of Casey and Erin Lynch both of Cumberland, RI. Loving son of John J. Lynch (Ret. Hingham PD) and Carol (Fardig) Lynch of Hingham.Brother of Debra Johnson of Manchester by- the -Sea, Jay Lynch of Londonderry, NH and Pamela Harkins of Hingham. Son in law of James and Nancy Howe of Claremont, NH. Jerry is also survived by many nieces, nephew and many many dear friends. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Funeral Mass in St. Paul’s Church, 147 North Street Hingham, Saturday January 13 at 10am. Visiting hours Friday morning from 9 -12 noon in the Pyne Funeral Home, 21 Emerald Street, Hingham. Burial in High Street Cemetery, Hingham. Directly following the burial, please join the family back at Black Rock Country Club, 19 Clubhouse Drive, Hingham. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Jerry may be made to The Stephen E. & Catherine Pappas Brain Tumor Center, c/o Massachusetts General Hospital, Development Fund, 165 Cambridge St.,Boston, MA 02114. After a courageous fight with brain cancer, Jerry Lynch died peacefully Tuesday due to complications from his illness. His strong will, love for life and sense of humor stayed with him throughout his battle. He was surrounded by the love of his wife, family, beautiful daughters and good friends. Jerry , a native of Hingham, Mass, enjoyed life on the golf course, on the slopes and cruising on his Harley. He spent his career building finance departments at growing companies, most recently as Vice President and controller at the Yankee Candle Company in South Deerfield, MA . Jerry also spent many years in financial roles with the American Hard Cider Company, Staples, Boston Whaler and Deloitte & Touche. Jerry is survived by his wife Deborah, his daughters Casey & Erin, his parents Jack & Carol Lynch, his sisters Debra Johnson & Pam Harkins and his brother Jay Lynch. Jerry touched many peoples lives and was fortunate to have good friends and family that meant the world to him.
