Roffey, Gerald E. of Quincy, April 10, 2003. Beloved husband of Virginia (Rounds) Roffey. Loving father of Timothy J., Linda S. Roffey, both of Quincy, Frank DiCroce of San Diego, CA, Laurianne Marron of Weymouth, Jennifer L. and G. Christopher Roffey, both of Quincy. Brother of Virginia M. Mills of Hull, Elizabeth A. Doherty and Thomas Roffey both of Marshfield. Grandfather of Andrew, Patrick, Jacob, Jessica, Alex, Shaelin and Jason. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home 785 Hancock St. , WOLLASTON Monday at 10 AM. Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, N. Quincy at 11 AM. Visiting hours Sunday 2-4 and 7- 9. Burial in Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. Mr. Roffey was very much involved in the Knights of Columbus in various capacities. He served them as a Past District Deputy and also a Past Grand Knight of Quincy Council 2259. He is currently the Treasurer of the Redberry Council K of C in Dorchester. His activities as a Fourth Degree member included being a Past Faithful Navigator of Cardinal Cushing and Captain of Bishop Chevrus assembly. He was also an usher at Sacred Heart Church, North Quincy. Mr Roffey was also retired from the Army Corps of Engineers after working for them for thirty years as an electronics Technician.
