Melchione, Georgiene E. (Gilbrook) of Hull August 26, 2007. Daughter of the late John F. and Mary C.Gilbrook. Devoted mother of Angela G. Melchione of Hull,and the late Richard J. Melchione Jr., Stepmother of Anthony Melchione of Braintree, beloved sister of John Gilbrook of Fl, Regina Fernald of Plymouth, Paul Gilbrook and James Gilbrook both of Rockland, William Gilbrook of Fall River, Patricia Mackay and MaryAnn Peaslee of both of Hull, Loving grandmother of Richard J. Melchione III of Hull, and Anthony D. Melchione of Braintree, Mother in-law of Adeline Melchione of Braintree. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald Street, Hingham, Friday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Ann’s Church, Hull at 10:00 AM. Visiting hours Thursday 4- 8 PM. Cremation will follow. Georgiene was born in Boston. She attended elementary school at St. Peter’s in Dorchester and went to Hull High School, she was a 1972 graduate of Quincy Beauty Academy. Georgiene was a very kind person with a wonderful sense of humor. She loved to laugh and touched everyone she met in a special way. She enjoyed cooking, especially a big Turkey Dinner. She loved anything glamorous and things that sparkled. Above all things Georgiene adored spending time with her family, especially her children and her grandchildren.
