Georgette C. Smongeski

Smongeski, Georgette C. (Chapellier) of Shrewsbury, formerly of Quincy. April 10, 2004. The beloved Wife of the late Joseph L. Smongeski. Loving Mother of Josette Lyders of Peacham, VT, Mary Patch of Boothbay Harbor, ME, Ann Fitzgerald of Raymond, NH and Joseph G. Smongeski of Shrewsbury. Sister of Irene Little of Chapel Hill, NC. Georgette is also survived by 3 Grandchildren and 1 Great Granddaughter, and several nieces and nephews. She was a member of the Marion Society at St. Ann’s Parish in Quincy as well as a member of the English Club of Boston. Georgette spent 52 years in Quincy before moving to Shewsbury. Georgette was born in London, England and moved at an early age to Belgium. In 1926 she came to America. She lived in Pasadena, CA, Chicago, New York and then Massachusetts. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home 785 Hancock St. , WOLLASTON Tuesday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Ann’s Church, Wollaston at 10 AM. Visiting hours Monday 6-8 PM. Burial in Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. Donations in memory of Georgette may be made to the American Heart Assoc. 20 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
