Niak, George S., Jr. “Papa Butch” of Randolph, OFD, died suddenly October 4, 2023.
Butch loved his family and going to yard sales, casinos, and watching General Hospital. He was a graduate of English High School and was a member of the Local 25 and worked as a trucker for Sears for many years. He was also a member of the James J. Rice Post in Dorchester. He was a gentle teddy bear who gave and helped anyone that he could. He was a great man with a good heart and will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth Niak. Loving father of Donnie, Ricky, Debbie, Bernard, and Lisa. Cherished brother of Steve, John and his wife Janice, and sister Helen. Also survived by 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, many nieces and nephews, and his furry companion Buddy.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Monday 9-11 AM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY followed by a funeral home service at 11 AM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Butch may be made to the American Cancer Society, 3 Speen Street, Suite 250, Framingham, MA 01701, New England Donor Services, 60 First Ave., Waltham, MA 02451, or to American Diabetes Assoc., 10 Speen St., 2nd Floor, Framingham, MA 01701.
