George S. Macinnis, Jr.

MacInnis, George S., Jr. of Weymouth, died January 14, 2014.

George proudly served in the U.S. Air Force. In his early years he was very athletic with a love for almost every sport. He went on to work in multiple hospitals, including St. John of God, with impressive titles such as Business Manager and Accounting Controller. He retired in 1997. Upon retirement George and Eleanor enjoyed wintering in Bradenton, FL, where he was blessed with many friends. 

Beloved husband of 52 years to Eleanor (Sheingold) MacInnis of Weymouth. Devoted father of Mary Ellen MacInnis of Weymouth and George S. MacInnis, III of Hingham. Loving brother of Leslie Sardo of Methuen, Kendall MacInnis of NH, Mildred Berube of Haverhill and the late John MacInnis. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 2-6 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital)  Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 10 AM on Monday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Jerome Church, Weymouth at 11 AM. Burial in Mt. Benedict Cemetery, West Roxbury.
