George Joseph Morris

George Joseph Morris, 68, of Brockton, Massachusetts, passed suddenly at home.

The son of the late Richard I and late Marie A (Penny) Morris, George grew up in Hingham and was a graduate of Thayer Academy and Pfeiffer College. He was employed at his death and for more than 33 years as a Project Manager for CJM Services, an interior renovations specialist. 

He is survived by his siblings and their families: Richard Morris Jr, Frances and Warren Knapp Jr., Elizabeth Carter, Charles and Patricia (Porter) Morris, and Penny Svenson, his extended family, godchildren and friends around the country. He lived for his family and friends with a smile that lit up a room and a knack for making connections instantly. He will be sorely missed by all. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Friday 11/22/2024 from 4-6 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday 11/23/2024 in St. Paul’s Church, Hingham at 10 AM. Cremation will follow. The family requests that no fowers be sent.
