Devlin, George J., Sr. of Hingham, August 25, 2007. Beloved husband of the late Evelyn G. (Last). Loving father of George J. Devlin, Jr. of FL and Richard A. Devlin and his wife Kathleen of Marshfield. Brother of the late Charles and John Devlin. Grandfather of Kimberly Devlin D’Agata of Methuen, Kristen Devlin Maines of Andover, Kerri Devlin of Boston, Shawn Devlin of FL, James Devlin of PA, and Lynn Devlin Mahon of Whitman. Also survived by many great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald Street, Hingham, Tuesday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Paul’s Church, Hingham at 10 AM. Visitation prior to Mass. Burial in Saint Paul’s Cemetery, Hingham. George worked for 10 years as a bus driver and custodian at Derby Academy from 1969 to 1980. He was a member of Local #18 and a member of the Boston Fire Relief Association. George was an avid Red Sox fan. Mr. Devlin graduated from Boston English High School. Donations in memory of Mr. Devlin may be made to St. Paul’s Church, 147 North St., Hingham, MA 02043.
