George G. “Bunny” Devine

Devine, George G. “Bunny” of Mattapan, July 3, 2007. Loving brother of Sister Ruane, CSJ, formerly known as Ruane Devine of Framingham and the late Shirley, Mary Rose & Donald Devine. Dear friend of Bill and Rose Farwell and Attorney Alexis Levitt. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON, Tuesday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, 251 Neponset Ave., Dorchester at 10 AM. Visiting hours Monday 4-8 PM. Burial in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne Tuesday at 1 PM. George attended Boston College for more than 2 years. He worked as a short order cook for over 40 years at Eat Well Restaurant in Boston and a diner in NH. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during WWII and fought in the Battle of the Bulge. George was an avid sports fan, with a particular interest in the Red Sox. He also loved hauling Christmas trees down from New Hampshire during the Christmas season.
