Finneran, George of Hull May 19, 2002. Loving husband of Elizabeth (Goodman) Finneran. Loving father of Patricia Ann Finneran and Mary Beth Sussmann, both of Hull. Devoted “Grampa George” of Erin Marie. Brother of Mr. Jackie Finneran, Janet Bennett, both of Hull, Henry “Buddy” Finneran of Pembroke, Dorothy Smith of Hingham, June St. Croix of Anaheim, CA, Joseph of Boston, Robert of Weymouth and Michael of Hingham. Also survived by 17 nieces & nephews and 9 grand nieces & nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM Thursday at 8 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Ann’s Church, Hull at 9 AM. Visiting hours Wednesday 4-8 PM. Burial in Hull Village Cemetery. George grew up in Mission Hill and summered in Hull, before moving there full time in the 8th grade. He graduated from Hingham High School, Northeastern University, and worked his way through Bentley College to earn his Masters Degree while raising his family. He worked at United Shoe Machinery in Boston, then Emhart Corp for 20 years (later purchased by Black & Decker) in Farmington, CT and then at Lexmark in Lexington, KY for 3 years. After retiring in 1996, he went to work as Executive Director for Hull Housing Authority. He was known for his great sense of humor and his love for his family. He was proud to call Hull home.
