George F. Moore, Jr.

Moore, George F., Jr. of Weymouth, passed away May 7, 2017.

George lived in Wollaston for 70 years and attended Quincy Public Schools. He loved to ride his bike, go bowling, watch channel 4 and hang out with all of his barber shop collectibles. Most importantly, he loved attending the Workshop at the Arc of the South Shore for the last 50+ years. George will be dearly missed, but never forgotten; his boisterous laugh and huge smile left an imprint on all those who knew him.

Predeceased by his parents, George and Ruth Moore; George was a dear cousin to Arlene & Alan Barr of Hanson. Survived by his cherished caregivers Rachel and Tom Pitot of Weymouth and Eric Nordahl of Westwood. Also survived by many special friends who helped care for George over the years.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 10-11 AM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A celebration of George’s life will then be held at 11 AM in Keohane Funeral Home, Quincy. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations in George’s memory to Arc of the South Shore CBDS Program, 371 River Street, North Weymouth, MA 02191
