George E. Brown

Brown, George E. of Quincy died April 10, 2008. Devoted husband for 60 years of Helen (Cody) Brown of Quincy. Beloved father of Ellen Pittman of Milton, Patricia Stone of Dorchester, Kathleen Scannell of Quincy, Jean Manning of Quincy, Thomas Brown of So. Boston, and Edward Brown of Quincy. Cherished grandfather of 17 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. George proudly served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was retired from the City of Boston Elderly Affairs Commission and formerly as a Bridgetender for the City of Boston. George was a quiet family man and enjoyed watching sports. He will be missed by all those who knew him. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St. QUINCY, Monday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Ann’s Church, Wollaston at 10:00 AM. Visiting hours Sunday 3 – 7 PM. Burial in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of George E.
