Shionis, George C., Jr. of Quincy October 18, 2005. Beloved husband of Elizabeth (Hughes) Shionis of Quincy. Loving brother of Anne Stanton of Quincy, Charles Shionis of NH, and the late Iris Geoldasis, Theodore Shionis, Christopher Shionis, Beatrice Lafaro, and John Shionis. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home 333 Hancock St., N. QUINCY Friday at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Catherine Greek Orthodox Church – Braintree at 10:00 AM. Visiting hours Thursday 4 – 8 PM. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy. Donations in memory of Mr. Shionis may be made to Disabled American Veterans, State House, Boston, MA 02133. George enjoyed all sports but especially enjoyed watching and playing baseball.
