Gaye R. Gould

Gaye R. Gould (Tenore) of Weymouth, 60, passed away March 12, 2018 after a courageous battle with escalating medical issues.

Gaye was born in Quincy to the late Gaetano and Mary Tenore, but was a lifelong resident of Weymouth. She was a graduate of Weymouth North High School. Among several jobs in her career, her final job at Curry College Health Care Clinic was her favorite. She made lifelong friends there. Gaye was an avid Boston sports fan, especially The Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots. She was an amazing homemaker and cook, always trying to match her mother’s famous meatball recipe. Gaye and Dick traveled often after raising their children which leaves Dick with memories he will cherish forever. During her long battle, Gaye always kept a positive attitude and her spirits up. More than anything, Gaye was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. Her large extended family always being her greatest joy.

Beloved wife of 39 years to Richard A. Gould of Weymouth. Devoted mother of Andrew J. Gould and his wife Daisy of Quincy, Ricky A. Gould of Tampa, FL and Kerry T. Gould of Weymouth. Very proud Grammy to Chase J. Gould, who was the apple of her eye – calling her GramCracker which brought a smile to both of their faces. Dear sister of Theresa Novis and her husband, the late Joe Novis of Marietta, GA, the late Tony Tenore and his wife Margie of Scituate and Mary and her husband Dick Consalvi of Pembroke. Also survived by numerus nieces, nephews and cousins.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off Route 3A – Bicknell Square). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Saturday prior to the Funeral Mass in Immaculate Conception Church, Weymouth at 10:30 AM.
