Garrett V. Scott

Scott, Garrett V. of Quincy, died unexpectedly on November 5, 2013.

The beloved husband of  Stacy (Trainor) Scott of Quincy. Devoted father of Mia, Fallyn, Georgia and Rowan Scott all of Quincy. Cherished son of Claire L. (Parks) of Westwood and the late Robert H. Scott, Sr.  Loving brother Robert H. Scott, Jr. of Hyde Park, Craig Scott of CT, Loren Gonser of Medfield and Bradford Scott of OR.  Son-in-law of Edward and Irene Trainor of Quincy, Brother-in-law of Corinne Trainor of Hartford, CT. Garrett is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.

Garrett grew up in Westwood, he was a 1992 graduate of Xaverian Brothers High School, he continued his education at Mass Maritime Academy graduating in the class of 1997.  A proud member of IUEC- Local 4 for 15 years, he was currently working for Otis Elevator. Garrett enjoyed skiing, golfing and following the New England Patriots, but the foundation of his life was his family. He adored his four beautiful little girls, they were what was truly important to him. He will be sadly missed by all those who knew him. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 2-6 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Monday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Cremation will follow.
