Gaetano “Guy” Capobianco

Capobianco, Gaetano “Guy” of South Weymouth, formerly of Roslindale, died July 20, 2016 at age 90.

Beloved husband of Anna M. (Falzone). Loving father of Diane Marella and her husband, Philip, of Weymouth, Donna Flecchia and her husband, Mark, of Burlington, and Deborah McLaughlin and her husband, William, of Norton. Brother of Rose Pagliarini of Malden and the late Frank Capobianco. Proud Grampa of Michael, Kristin, Samantha, and Nicole. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Guy was born in Gaeta, Italy and came to the United States in 1946 at the age of 20.  A retired finish carpenter, he spent many hours in his workshop and loved gardening, fishing and cooking. He also enjoyed word search puzzles, Wheel of Fortune and the Red Sox, and treasured spending time with his family.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 3-7 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. South Shore Hospital). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9 AM on Monday prior to the Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Weymouth at 10 AM. Burial will follow in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
