Bennett, Frederick W. a lifelong resident of Weymouth, died January 15, 2014. He was 77.

Fred enjoyed boating and spending time with friends and family, especially his surrogate grandchildren. He will be remembered for the true gentleman he was. 

Longtime companion of Kathleen “Kay” Weisensale of Weymouth. Loving brother of Raymond Bennett and his wife Lois of Rockland, Sheila Bennett Ciavattieri and her partner Fred Butts, Jr. of Weymouth and the late Manus P. Bennett and his wife Margaret Bennett Gosselin of Weymouth. Dear friend of Lillian Wilkins and her husband Francis of East Bridgewater. Cherished “Bah” of Tiffany, Stephanie, Natalie and Colby. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.   

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visitation on Thursday at 8 AM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital) prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Weymouth at 9:30 AM. Burial at a later date.

In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Fred may be made to the Mesothelioma Applied Research Foundation, 1317 King Street, Alexandria, VA 22314.
