Fredrick Louis Bennett

Bennett, Frederick Louis of Hingham, died July 14, 2014.  

Beloved husband of Jane (McInnis) Bennett of Hingham.  Loving father of Frederick “Rick” Colby Bennett and his wife Ellen of Plymouth, Bonnie B. Bennett of Braintree and Tracey P. Bennett and Mike Straz of Maine.  Brother of Clarence “Rusty” Bennett of Maine. Cherished grandfather of Taylor and Sarah Bennett both of Plymouth.  Fred was also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Frederick was born in Kingfield, Maine and grew up in Quincy.  He lived in Hingham for the past 8 years. He was an Engineer for New England Telephone for 34 years before retiring in 1990. Fred was a huge fan of old movies and TV shows.  He enjoyed watching tennis  and following the Boston sports teams. He and his wife Jane had many great traveling adventures including India, Africa and China.  Most of all Fredrick loved his family, they will miss him dearly.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Saturday 4-7 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. A Funeral service will be celebrated on Sunday at 1 PM in Linden Ponds, Linden Ponds Way, Hingham (Woodland Crossing).
