Frederick V. Leona

Leona, Frederick V. “Freddy” of Moultonborough, NH, formerly of Quincy and born in Boston, passed away at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital on November 16, 2018 at the age of 76.

Beloved son of the late Peter and Hattie Leona. Loving brother to the late William, Joseph, and Robert Leona. Loving husband to his first wife, the late Jeanne Leona and widowed by the love of his life Mary B. Perkins-Leona. From his first marriage, Freddy was the loving father of Ann Marie Leona of Maine, Karen Clark of Maine, Steven M. Leona of Whitman and the late Frederick V. Leona Jr. Freddy was also the loving father of Anita Perkins of Quincy, Edward Perkins of Maine, Terri Peretti and husband James of Easton, Joseph P. Leona of Quincy, the late Charlene Perkins, the late Walter Perkins and his late wife Christel, the late Jeanine MacDonald and her late husband Mark. Freddy had 18 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Freddy retired from Local 589 Carmens Union as a Track Walker for the MBTA. Freddy enjoyed singing, dancing, camping, hunting, boating, fishing, sports, traveling, going to casinos, and most of all, cooking for his loved ones. He was so much to so many and will be missed dearly by all.
