Frederick P. Therrien

Frederick P. Therrien of Orange, formerly of Pembroke and Hingham, died at home with his family by his side on July 28, 2021 at the age of 79.

Fred was a Salesian brother and teacher at Don Bosco Technical High School in Boston. He later taught at Carpenter’s Union in Boston and Newton North High School. He was an amazing husband, father, and grandfather. Fred also had his own drafting business.

Beloved husband of Patricia M. (Clancy) Therrien. Loving father of Elizabeth Parsons and her husband Matthew of Orange, Mary MacAlpine and her husband Christopher of Leominster, and the late Frederick Joseph Therrien. Proud grandfather of Abigail Parsons, Samuel Parsons, Benjamin Parsons, Daniel Parsons, Alexander MacAlpine, and Morgan MacAlpine. Brother of Carole Therrien, Robert Therrien, both of Lauderdale Lakes, FL, and Denise Nix of Bella Vista, AR.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Sunday 2-6 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). The family asks that all attendees kindly wear masks. Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Monday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Francis Xavier Church, Weymouth at 10 AM. Burial in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Hingham.
