Frederick H. Kelliher Jr.

Kelliher, Frederick H., Jr. of Hingham, formerly Scituate and Milton, died June 18, 2016.  

Fred served in the United States Marine Corps and worked in the construction business as a project manager for many projects in the Greater Boston area for almost 50 years. He loved his work and took great pride in the schools, hospitals, and churches he oversaw. He was also an avid Boston sports fan looking forward to each Red Sox, Patriots and Bruins season. He read all the commentaries and opinions sharing details as well as his enthusiasm with everyone. 

He adored his family and spending time on the golf course. Fred had a lot of faith, a wonderful temperament and was always kind and giving to those he knew as well as a contributor to a myriad of charitable organizations. He most appreciated all the acts of kindness from the Hingham community.

Beloved husband of the late Anne (Cahill) Kelliher. Loving father of Kathleen Kelliher-Ostrowski and her husband Tom of Gloucester. Cherished brother of, Mary Lou Isaac of Belmont, Annette Dragon of Milton and the late Jeanne Johnson and Celine Gallagher.. Also survived by his grandchildren, brothers in law and many nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Paul’s Church, Hingham on Friday June 24, 2016 at 10 AM.
