Freddy R. Lutfy

Lutfy, Freddy R. of Quincy, passed away January 22, 2012. Beloved husband of the late Jennie S. (Pepsak) Lutfy. Loving father of Janet Miller of Braintree, Laurel Perkins and her husband Robert of Wakefield, and the late Ellen Guglielmi. Father-in-law of Paul Guglielmi of Chelmsford. He was one of 7 children and survived by his sister Lorraine Cazenave of Quincy. Adored grandfather of Jennie Logan, Kristen Ogden, John Perkins, Beth Perkins and Katherine Relihan. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Freddy will always be remembered as a kind, caring and loving gentleman to his family and friends. He was a Past Grand Knight in the North Quincy Knights of Columbus, Past President of the Toastmasters Club and very active with the Furnace Brook Golf Club. Furnace Brook had just honored Freddy with his own bench at the club where he could watch the daily activities. He was also involved in the National Association of Federal Employees and had his own circle of friends who met daily at the local coffee spot. This wonderful family man will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Friday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Burial in MA National Cemetery, Bourne.
