Fred John Malczuk

Fred John Malczuk of Randolph, MA died March 13, 2025. He was Born on October 13th, 1948 in Kearney, NJ. He was the beloved son of Metro Malczuk and Ruth (Swiss) Malczuk whom he remained close with for much of his life. Fred Grew up and lived in Elizebeth, NJ until 2008 when he moved to Rahway, NJ and then retired to Randolph, MA in 2014 to be close to his daughter and her family.

Fred adored his family and was a great father and grandfather. He enjoyed working on model trains with his grandson Trent and loved his long conversations over a meal with his grandson Quinn. He was an avid gardener, took pleasure in woodworking, and fresh water fishing. Later in life he developed a passion for cooking and bread making. Fred’s faith was important to him and he volunteered at his church working on the maintenance committee and was previously an Elder. He was always willing to lend a hand to others and could fix just about anything. Fred was a proud veteran of the United States Navy during Vietnam. He was a hard worker and took pride in his career in manufacturing and was an asset to the companies he worked for. Fred had a great sense of humor and a quick wit and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. 

Beloved husband of the late Dolores (Gorski) Malczuk. Loving father of Misty Whelan and her husband Peter of Hull. Cherished “Poppy” of Quinn and Trent. Predeceased by his parents and his brother Perry Malczuk. Also survived by nieces, nephews, and his cherished dog Eva. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Saturday 3/29/2025 from 11 AM-1 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM followed by a funeral home service at 1 PM. Eventual scattering at sea by the United States Navy. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Fred may be made to the VA Boston Healthcare System, 1400 VFW Parkway, West Roxbury, MA 02132.
