Fred K. Wentworth

Wentworth, Fred K. “Ted” of Weymouth, died August 26, 2014.

Ted grew up in West Ossipee, NH and has lived in Weymouth for over 30 years. He was a proud graduate of Bowdoin College, Class of 1965. He went on to lead a long career in marketing and design, retiring from M.I.S. Ted enjoyed big band music, old western movies and the Boston Red Sox. A lover of golf, doing crossword puzzles and spending time with his family. He will be sadly missed.

Beloved husband of 36 years to Laurie (Sass) Wentworth of Weymouth. Devoted father of Adam Wentworth and his wife Alyson of New York City and Kate Wentworth and her fiancé Matt Goslin of Weymouth. Cherished “Grampa” of Addison Goslin. Loving brother of Dwight P. Wentworth of Florida and the late Gordon “Bud” Wentworth, Jr. Brother-in-law of Linda Douglas of Weymouth and Alan Sass of Braintree. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital)  Funeral service will be celebrated in the funeral home on Saturday at 10 AM. Burial in Fairmount Cemetery, Weymouth.
