Frank “Ted” Crowley

Frank E. Crowley, age 70, of the Houghs Neck section of Quincy, formerly of West Roxbury, beloved husband of Marilyn Jacobs, died peacefully after a long illness on January 31st, 2017.

Upon graduation from Northeastern University in 1969, Frank was drafted into the U.S. Army where he served honorably in the central highlands of Vietnam with the 7/17th Air Cavalry Regiment. Frank enjoyed a rewarding thirty year career with the Comm. of Mass., beginning with the Office of the Comptroller where he was the bureau director of operations and retired from the Department of Veterans’ Services as a budget director and CFO. Frank leaves his brothers Steve and his wife Meri of Ormond Beach, FL and Jack and his wife Eileen of Carefree, AZ and his sisters Marie Macomber and her husband Stu of Newton Centre and Janet Finlayson and her husband Rob of Back Bay. Long time friend of Bill W. Frank was an avid reader, enthusiastic traveler, and loyal fan of the Boston Red Sox. 

In lieu of flowers, donations in Frank’s memory may be made to the Friends of the Thomas Crane Public Library, 40 Washington Street, Quincy, MA 02169.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Thursday from 4-7PM at the Keohane Funeral Home in Quincy. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday at 8 AM. Internment with military honors will follow at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
