Frank E. Sillers passed away May 21, 2024. He was born in Quincy, Massachusetts on December 12, 1942, son of the late Frank and Gladys Sillers, brother to the late Marlene Marshall of Bangor, Maine, and Patricia Parr of Yuba City California. He worked at the Gillette Company in South Boston in packaging and engineering for twenty eight years before retiring in 1995. He was an avid sports fan who played baseball and inter-league softball in the Gillette league. An avid motorcycle enthusiast since he was a teenager, he attended Quincy Trade School where he played baseball and football through to his junior year, ultimately graduating in 1961. He has also been a lifetime member of the Port Norfolk Yacht club in Dorchester, MA.
Survived by the late Virginia Hodson of Bangor, Maine; Tommy Marshall and his wife Kathy of Lincoln, Delaware; Joanne Matthes of Bangor, Maine; Joseph Marshall Jr. of Orlando, FL; Chad Marshall and wife Gloria of Ford, New Hampshire; along with several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
A memorial service and celebration of life will be held at Keohane Funeral Home
785 Hancock St, Quincy, MA 02170 on Friday May 7th from 4-8PM.
