Frank R. Sullivan

Frank R. Sullivan of Hingham, 86, passed away peacefully July 8th, 2015 with his loving family by his side.  Beloved husband of Dorothy (Fischer) Sullivan for 60 yrs, the father of Maureen Sullivan of Boston, Mary Galligan and husband Tom of MD, Michael Sullivan and wife Gerda of Marshfield, Paul Sullivan and wife Pam of MO, Stephen Sullivan of Newton, and Kevin Sullivan of CA.  Brother of Betty Gosselin of CT, and the late Helen Monteleone of NY.  He is survived by 9 wonderful grandchildren.

Frank’s background took him from Fall River to Coyle High School, to WWII (Army), to Boston College Business School ’52, graduating 1st in his class,  to Eastman Kodak (accounting to information systems in ‘56), and finally Gillette Co. in ‘65, as International Director of Information Technology, leading to global travel and adventures. 

Following retirement, Frank looked for new adventures in boating, winter stays in Naples, FL, golfing at South Shore Country Club, caring for friends in need, and volunteering for many years at the food pantry in Brockton.  

Frank was a devoted parishioner and volunteer of Resurrection Parish for 50 years. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 4-8pm in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home on Monday at 9:15 prior to the Funeral Mass in Church of the Resurrection, Hingham, Monday at 10am. Burial in St.Paul’s Cemetery, Hingham. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Norwell VNA and Hospice at www.nvna.org/donate.html.  Many thanks to NVNA for the wonderful care given to Frank during his illness.
