Frank Radway, formerly of Boston and Revere, beloved son of the late Pasquale and Filomena (Simone) Raduazzo, passed away peacefully on August 10, 2014, at the age of 96.
Family was extremely important to Frank. He is survived by his nieces and nephews, Phyllis LeTourneau, Arnold, Vita, and Tony Radway, all of Lynnfield, and the late Vivian Flint of Revere. He also leaves behind many grand nieces and nephews, great-grand nieces and nephews, and ten great-great-grand nieces and nephews.
Frank had a long career as a teacher and administrator in the Revere Public Schools. He was an involved member of the First Church in Boston. He was very active in all of John F. and Ted Kennedy’s political campaigns. He enjoyed writing plays and children’s stories and had a life long fondness for dogs. After his retirement he began acting in TV commercials, as a movie extra, in plays on the Lyric Stage in Boston, and in soap operas in New York. He enjoyed writing plays and children’s stories.
A memorial service will be held in the Story Chapel at Mt. Auburn Cemetery in Cambridge, MA on Friday, August 15, 2014 at 11:00 A.M.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the First Church in Boston or the MSPCA of Boston. Arrangements by McDonald Keohane Funeral Home, Weymouth
