Davy, Frank H. of Quincy formerly of Dorchester, August 28, 2005. Beloved husband of the late Helen A. (Chapman). Loving father of Shirley Davy and her husband Robert A. Pollard, Janet E. and her husband Robert Thornton and Michael A. Davy; all of Quincy. Brother of Anna Fitzpatrick of Dorchester and the late Elizabeth Lema. Loving grandfather of Robert J., Jessica, John, Anthony, USMC, Nicole, Kimberly and Mrs. Amanda Keefe. Great grandfather of Noelle Bogacli. Nephew of Mrs. Lillian J. Warren of West Hatfield. Loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. Mr. Davy worked at Continental Baking in Natick for 21 years retiring in 1986. He also worked 13 years part-time for the Patriot Ledger in their mail room. He served in the US Marine Corps from 1943 to 1946. Frank served as Commander of the Wollaston American Legion Post #295. He performed many charitable works for Disabled American Veteran’s and Father Bill’s Homeless Shelter in Quincy. He participated in the project to reclaim and maintain the Old Sailors Burial Ground on Fenno Street in Quincy. Mr. Davy assisted the American Legion every year in placing flags on the graves of fellow veterans. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Funeral Service in the Keohane Funeral Home 785 Hancock St. , WOLLASTON Thursday at 10:30 AM. Visiting hours Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
