Frank D. Cody

Cody, Frank D. of Carver, formerly of FL & Hull, November 12, 2005. Beloved husband of Florence J. (Jeffrey) Cody. Loving step-father of Carolyn McNeil of VT, Henry Simmons of OK, Michael Vickery of Pembroke, Norman Vickery of Marshfield, Charlene McCarthy of Middleboro, Teresa Tinkham of Carver, Barbara Grieco of Weymouth, Adam Barrett of Boston and the late Patricia Townsend. Also survived by 25 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM Wednesday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Ann’s Church, Hull at 10 AM. Visiting hours Tuesday 6-9 PM. Cremation will follow. Frank served in the U.S. Army for two years, before transfering to the U.S. Navy, where he served for 18 years, retiring in 1967. After the service he worked as a caretaker on George’s Island for the MDC for many years. Frank grew up in New York City, where he had fond memories of Coney Island. He later moved to Hull and then Florida, before recently moving to Carver. His greatest joy in life was his grandchildren and spending time with family.
